DISCLAIMER & RULES
The Rules and Guidelines for VIPersons of the Year that are listed herein are in effect throughout the entire term for the afore mentioned campaign. VIP Franklin Magazine (VIP) is overseer of all regulations that are to be governed regarding said campaign.
WHEREAS, VIP Franklin Magazine is a monthly publication in Franklin, TN and is presenting the community with an opportunity to recognize Individuals for their accomplishments and or philanthropic achievements, but are not limited to the afore mentioned and therefore any nominated individual is eligible to win under the guidelines contained herein; and,
WHEREAS, VIP Franklin Magazine is the exclusive namesake of this campaign; and,
NOW THEREFORE, Each nominating individual, as well as each nominee will be governed by the following list of rules, guidelines and limitations:
1. CAMPAIGN TIMEFRAME & DETAILS. The VIPersons of the Year officially begins on Monday March 26, 2007 with the nominating process that will ensue until Friday April 20, 2007. Once the nominating period has expired – a total of Five Men and Five Women will be selected from the total number of nominees by a committee compiled of local dignitaries and business professionals alike. Once the final Men and Women are selected, they will each be contacted and notified of their selection and provided they accept the honor, they will each be pictured in the May issue of VIP Franklin Magazine and then they will each begin collecting monetary pledges from May 1, 2007 through June 1, 2007 and the two winners will ultimately be the One Man and One Woman that each collect the most pledges. 100% of all monetary pledges raised by both the Winners and Non-Winners will be earmarked to the charity or charities of choice of the Two Winners. Deductible percentages will be dictated by the guidelines of the respective charity or charities.
2. PRIZES. The following prizes and honors will be bestowed upon the Two Winners as specified in Section 2-A & B below.
(A) The Two Winners will grace the cover of the July 2007 issue of VIP Franklin Magazine, which will be accompanied by a brief story and bio on both individual winners.
(B) Each winner will also receive a $500.00 gift card to Mall at Green Hills, a round of golf for Four at The Governor’s Club and an Exclusive prize package from TIBA.
3. DISCLAIMER OF ELIGIBILITY & NON-ELIGIBILTY.
(A) No employee or family member of VIP Magazine staff or any of its affiliates and/or subsidiaries is eligible for participation or nomination. This exclusion extends to employees and their family members of any participating sponsor and/or their subsidiaries. Furthermore, no employee or family member of either VIP Magazines or any participating sponsor or family member thereof will be involved in the nomination or selection process of the nominees and/or ultimately the winners. PLEASE NOTE: With the exception of Mall at Green Hills, TIBA, Sperry’s and Governor’s Club, all employees and their family members of the other official voting stations are eligible for nomination.
(B) Anyone is eligible to nominate a person or persons both Male and Female to be considered as a nominee for VIPersons of the Year. Nominated candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Individuals are not limited to the amount of nominations they can submit. All nominations must be received on official ballots that will be provided at each “Official Voting Station”. If a voting station is for some reason out of ballots, feel free to log onto www.vipmag.com to download an official ballot, or locate an April issue of VIP Franklin Magazine and clip the official ballot from there.
